Kasturi manjal, the fragrant wild turmeric used in face packs. Not for cooking.

Paler and far more aromatic than kitchen turmeric, and much less likely to leave a yellow stain, which is why it is the turmeric of choice for face and bath use. Mix to a paste with water, milk or rose water. For external use.
